Dayton Audio 18 gauge iron core inductors are the most cost effective choice when large inductance values are needed for subwoofer crossovers. Features fully annealed refined copper wire with baked enamel insulation, wrapped around a laminated iron core.

Dayton Audio 18 gauge iron core inductors are the most cost effective choice when large inductance values are needed for subwoofer crossovers. Features fully annealed refined copper wire with baked enamel insulation, wrapped around a laminated iron core. All Dayton Audio iron core inductors are constructed on a 1-1/4" square x 1-3/4" long plastic bobbin around a 1/2" x 3" laminated iron core.

Specifications: • Inductance: 9.0 mH • Wire gauge: 18 AWG • Core type: Iron • DC resistance: 0.72 ohms • Tolerance: ±3% • Power handling: 250 watts RMS • Dimensions: 1-1/4" square x 1-3/4" long plastic bobbin around a 1/2" x 3" laminated iron core.

Copper quality/purity: The copper used in all Dayton Audio inductors, both wire and foil based, is a minimum of 99.9% pure, providing 100% conductivity. The oxygen component of the copper is between 0.02% and 0.04%.

Technical note: To prevent crosstalk and noise position inductors in crossovers at right angles to each other.
