Rigidly coupling a loudspeaker enclosure to a floor by means of a "spiking" system dramatically improves clarity, stereo imaging, and bass response. This is especially apparent with subwoofer systems. These attractive spikes are precision machined from solid brass and then plated with a durable finish. Barbed insert nuts and 6 mm threaded studs are included for mounting in cabinets with walls up to 1" thick. Set includes four cone spikes, four floor discs, four barbed insert nuts, and four threaded studs. Insert nut requires a 5/16" hole to be drilled in cabinet prior to installation. *Dimensions: 9/16" diameter, 5/8" high (including disc).

DSS2 Black speaker spikes
By: Grant on 13 November 2014I actually used the spikes for a HiFi rack I made, using a spike on each leg for each of the 4 shelves. What a great little product. Each set contained all the parts needed and each part did there job perfectly. The guys at loudspeakerkit handled my order quickly and without any problems. Definitely will use this sight again if i need any other parts or accessories.
